In the summer of 2017 I finished reading the biography of James Joyce, written by Gordon Bowker (“James Joyce: A New Biography” published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in 2012). A comment made by B.W. Yeats upon death of James Joyce in 1941, was disputed by T.S. Elliot, as set out on page 537. Upon reading this part I was tempted to respond to the Yeats’ comment, so that in September I wrote an essay concerning James Joyce in English.
